I havn't posted much about "Zoot" lately but this QS Curly Anigre is pretty exciting tonewood. Taptone compares to the best mahogany according to one well know luthier that has written a few articles on Tonewoods.

Is it as dark as that narra you had, Bob? What do you know about it's bending characteristics? Looks great on my screen. |

Ken it is lighter in color than the Narra. The pictures were wet with naptha. The un-wet wood looks very close in color to maple but turns a nice golden brown under finish. I havn't bent any myself but have read that it bends without a problem. I'm going to bend a side tommorow. |
